Warm soymilk is not that good.
After discovering the hard way that the 2.6.3 kernel doesn't like the ia64, I got it reinstalled on Friday - nightly snapshots are back up. I'm going to test the USB keyboard on monday, but that'll be too late for this cutoff anyway. These long release cycles just kill me. If we had something sane, like a 9 month release cycle, noone would panic about a 3 month freeze at the end, it would be less of a big deal to get everything in that needs to be in.
Hacking this week: Finish up sparc and ia64 d-i stuff. Fix ldconfig bug in glibc (one way or the other), fix vorlon's glibc bug triggered by php4, fix the new libc0.3-dev. Hopefully we can look at a glibc -12 this week that can be somewhat final for Sarge. Having an out of date glibc on hurd-i386 is causing grief, but I just don't have enough hours in the day. I've considered Polyphasic Sleeping, but why would I do that just so I could *work* more?
I've booked my tickets now to New Mexico for my last Young Adult/Campus Ministry training weekend. I'm being replaced by Elisabeth Bailey in Nova Scotia. It's exciting to see a seminarian in the ROC job. I think she'll be awesome.
My wife, Angie, wants to come to Brazil. I'm curious how that is going to work. I'm a bit concerned that all of the spouses are going to get together and form a union.
Oh, and it seems other people at church are interested in the Gospel Choir idea. Sweet!
