We're moving, yay!

Angie and I are now actually getting ready to move and still haven't got subletters yet. If you're looking for a place in a wonderful part of the city, 1.5 blocks from Métro Mont-Royal, skylight, clawfoot bathtub then look here: http://www.raspberryginger.com/4680/

The place is suitable for a single, a couple, or two roommates who don't want anything shared aside from the kitchen. Available immediately! =)

Update: We're moving because we've bought a place, not because we don't like this one. We like the area so much that we decided to buy. =)

You know, "We're moving, yay!" is probably not the best way of attracting people to your old apartment =)

I can testify that it's a really nice place though.

What?!? You mean people haven't been following every move of this drama?!? =)

Good point, though. Updated entry. =)

Thanks!

Have you posted to Craig's List yet?

Be sure to do it with a throwaway e-mail address.

I did a previous posting, but we didn't have the page setup with the pictures and the layout. Because it's a 5 1/2 but not useful for more than a couple of people I didn't have the ad worded well enough.

We're starting the blitz to the papers, etc. today.

We just posted a new ad, and got a call 15min afterwards!

Hurray for Craig's List!

Nice area indeed ;-)

Weird... I was looking over planet debian and a post caught my eye: I was living next door last year, at 4694.
Is it your wifi I hijacked for a couple of days when my dsl went down?
We used to pay only 700, but no front balcony.
Are those Ikea chairs in the kitchen?

There's several in the area, although with a quick round of Kismet, you certainly could've been using mine. =)

Are you still in Montréal?

Prices in this area vary wildly because of the rent control. If your place sat empty for any time at all, it's likely now at the same price.

There was a Linksys open with apparently all the default settings... probably not yours. I never got to thanks that anonymous bienfaiteur.
Still in Mtl indeed, after one summer on Berri, I moved back to my old appt I had been subletting, on Bullion near Prince Arthur. I've been there since 1999, and the rent certainly reflects it!
