One of the things through this move has been that we've been trying to make sure that whatever place we live in is close enough to "stuff" that Angie doesn't go nuts. The bitch about corporate housing is that there's no point in trying to meet your neighbours - everyone is transient. While I never came home to the walls smeared with fæces but I think she was contemplating it.
So, we're in new corporate housing now in Mountain View. This time we're a block off of Castro and El Camino Real, several neighbours have said hi, there's other families around and a starbucks around the corner. I'm expecting she'll be much happier here.
And I found a store that sells lychee-fruit cups. I haven't had those since I left Vancouver! The salt-water taffy store's products aren't vegan, sadly.
