Tired today

The heat is getting to me a bit. Was up late hacking initramfs stuff last night, it's basically ready for testing - it does lvm, raid1, hardware autodetection, and nfs root. Chatted a bit with svenl for what it might need on prep. Discovered that lilo doesn't seem to link initramfs (Although grub and yaboot are fine with it). Incidentally, now is a bad time to format your laptop to do lvm testing. X and Gnome are each quite uninstallable at the moment in Breezy. So I'll be the guy in the corner at OLS with only text on his laptop. =)

On the way to dinner with Angie and her mom (Sandy), I saw an elderly lady in a walker coming out of a sex shop. She dropped her bag and someone was helping her load it back onto her cart. I think that's the most beautiful sex-postive image I've ever seen.

We almost went to dinner at a place close by, but remembered a recommendation made by the ladies at the mexican place. Rue deluthe really is amazingly packed full of restaurants. And drunk people. =) The whole street seems to be "Apportez votre vin" and the Italian place we went to managed to stuff me for $8.

Hmm... Harry Potter release party tonight, but I think I'll miss it. Instead, better to figure out what we're doing in Ottawa for the days before OLS. I hear there are a few tourist things to do in town.
