I had the suspend problem too on the last version.
I have the Network Manager problem, I also have a stop gap solution.
run the following:

for i in /etc/dbus-1/event.d/2[25][dN]*;do sudo $i stop;done

wait for it to finish then run:

for i in /etc/dbus-1/event.d/2[25][dN]*;do sudo $i start;done

What this does is take down the Network Manager backend and DHCPd backend, then puts them back up I have a script that I run as sudo that is:

#!/bin/bash
SERVICES=/etc/dbus-1/event.d/2[25][dN]*
for i in $SERVICES
do
$i stop
done
sleep 1
for i in $SERVICES
do
$i start
done
