End of the day
Sep. 19th, 2004 03:07 amA few people have given me crap for not posting often enough, so I'll try to do better. It might also help me look back and figure out just what the hell I spent my time doing.
Spent the evening and James and Amanda's, tried (unsuccesfully) into getting the party into a game of Mao. [Damn you, Kinnison!] Came back to some really fun games of tetrinet.
Spent part of today looking at the RC initrd-tools bugs and started thinking about what sort of serious love initrd-tools and glibc should get post-Sarge. Initrd-tools needs some heavy debug modes so that I can get enough information for systems I don't have, and glibc needs somewhat simpler debian/control file generation.
On the drive home was thinking about some of the lyrics to Great Big Sea's "Ordinary Day":
It's up to you now if you sink or swim,
Keep the faith and you're ship will come in
I've been starting to ready up my résumé in prep for moving out of Toronto. Everytime I switch jobs, or think about switching cities I get the same old "Is this the right thing?" thoughts. I'm so happy to have a plan to get out of here, though (even if it changes).
I need to eliminate "Spider two-suit" from my computer. I think I played 6 games of it today at about 15 minutes each.
