The Canadian Information Processing Society has a certification program known as the ISP program. It *actually* stands for Information Systems Professional, something which the person who picked the acronym clearly wasn't.

Anyhow, this is the first key step towards my application to the University of Athabasca's Masters of Science in Information Systems. My plan is to start this degree late next year as a part-time distance program.

Next step: Two letters of reference, and a CV.

Cool! My mom did her Master's in Online Education through Athabasca. Good luck with the application process. :)

Hey! Long time. =)

I did a couple bachelors courses there before deciding that I didn't really want to take 10 years to do a degree.

Jamu mentioned you're working up at SFU. Way cool. We might be in town in November to show off angie-being-pregnant to the relatives. Maybe we'll see you!
