All at once! EXCITED!

Took some time at lunch today to look at more places. auzure_skies and I came home, and I got an email saying that I've been accepted into the M.Sci IS program. Then we called the real estate agent and asked her to come over so we could make an offer.

And yesterday the first book in the CIM course showed up.

The nice part is that much of the CIM should be finished by the time the baby's born. The move will be done and out of the way, and the Master's program doesn't come until several months after. So it only *feels* like I'm insane. Really!

It's a first floor place, 1075²ft. We have a small back padio, two rooms - one for Sprout, one for us. Hardwood, tall ceilings. Has a parking spot, easy access to a park and is quite central. It also has a storage basement that's huge.

The tradeoffs were: sucky bathtub, modern (not alot of character, but we'll fix that!), only two owners to spread any repair costs of the place.

I'll get pictures posted as soon as we have them. Aiming to take posession Dec 2nd.

I don't own a home (yet)... but I do know something about living a life of craziness. Congrats on all fronts--this sounds wonderful crazy to me.

Dude, what a day. You know what they say, when it rains it pours. :) Congratulations on the Master acceptance... at some point you'll have to tell me what it is you'll be studying. :)
