Arrived in Santa Clara

We arrived in Santa Clara two nights ago and have done the usual things like unpack, do laundry, buy groceries. Aside from that, a pretty mellow day yesterday. Randolph and his wife Amy came over for dinner. It's nice to start to get to know people. I spent a bunch of time looking at phone options, banks, PO boxes and mostly came away confused. How do Americans cope with so many choices?

Otherwise, I start my new job in just over an hour. Off I go!

Y'know, I don't even know what I'm allowed to say about that. One might infer a few things from them hiring Guido a while back, though. =P

But hey, I spend the last part of Friday trying to remember enough of the class I took a couple days earlier on the VCS I have to use. I don't know what the source files actually are yet.
