And the call came in over dinner, offer accepted.

Now begins the mad rush of inspections, reviewing minutes, finalising mortgage...

Yay!

Congratulations! I hope the subjects get removed without any hitches... I'm really excited for both of you and am looking forward to seeing the place the next time I'm in Montreal!

Yeah. We're not expecting much. The only unknown at this point is the inspection. Because it's a two person place, there's no condo minutes to go over. We were preapproved for the mortgage.

Hmm. And we also have to find a sublet to finish out our lease. =)

Anyone want to move to Montréal? In December? =)

Hey jbailey,
Seems I have missed a lot in the past week.

Awesome congrats on feeling the sprout move (vegan I see!), becoming a pending home-owner and being accepted for masters. It seems the next year will be a really wild ride for you guys.

The second half of pregnancy is really fun, enjoy all the wonderment of it... and if you ever need a mid-wife - just shout ;)

Enjoy it :)

Eh, did you study to be a midwife?

Well no I am not a qualified mid-wife - yet. I'd very much like to be one day though.

I considered attempting an unassisted birth myself (i.e. playing mid-wife to myself with hubby) after a terrible and tramatic first experience in a hospital, but decided that could be risky. So we opted for private mid-wfe assisted births. I have as a result unofficially studied up a huge amount on it. I absolutely loved the mid-wife we used too, she was fantastic and very calming and unobtrusive - allowing us to have our own experience. I supported my sister through her labour as her doula last year. Which I found very rewarding.

When I am done with IT it is definately an area I would like to move into.
